International audienceThe development of multiple webmapping portals generates a gear in the supply of spatial data on the Internet. Our study offers a mixed methodology applied to 45 French SDIs to compare the targets set by their promoters and their actual contents and services. Based on the analysis of interviews, survey, web sites and metadatas, methodology produces various results to visit in a different way the idea of a widespread networking tools and actors. Despite a proactive speech, the networking tools remains confined to specific themes.
