In this case the construction of the settlements need to be regulated and adjusted to the spatial planning of the city and refers to land use.This research aims to determine the suitability of the execution of functions of agricultural land into housing with the provision of Spatial Plan area of the city of Semarang, and knowing the functions over the implementation of the compliance with the provisions of Act No. 41 of 2009 on the protection of agricultural land sustainable food.The methods used in this research is the juridical-normative approach is done by examining the references or secondary data, with descriptive-analytical research spesifika that examines the function of agricultural land into housing that is associated with the applicable legislation, namely Act No. 41 of 2009 on the protection of agricultural land sustainable food and Spatial Plan of The city of Semarang.Based on the results of the research note that the pengalihfungsian agricultural land into housing is carried out in accordance with the provisions already Spatial Plan area of the city of Semarang.
