This paper deals with a renewed method of testing adhesion of coatings on their substrates. Due to insufficiency of the normed tests, there is a strong need for tests that are able to discriminate between highly adhesive strengths of coating-systems. Also, wet-adhesion cannot be measured with commonly used methods. The blister method will overcome these restrictions and even more than that, it gives one the opportunity to measure intercoat-adhesion
