Georgia Law group hosting May Day Festival and Music Business Expo

The event is free and is geared to musicians and those interested in the music industry. It is open to people of all ages. The day will bring together the entire spectrum of musician resources, from luthiers and lawyers to publicists and publishers. The expo will run from noon to 5 p.m., and 15 bands will perform on two stages from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Proceeds from the event will go to the law school’s student organization Sports and Entertainment Law Society and its community outreach programs, including the Protect Athens Music Program and clinics for musicians, and the Music Business Program at the Terry College of Business.
