Student's Corner: Providing culturally competent learning experiences for Aboriginal students: An undergraduate midwife's perspective

Internationally Australia is considered one of the safest countries in the world for women to birth in. However, Aboriginal women in Australia have a much higher incidence of perinatal mortality and morbidity. One strategy to address this higher mortality and morbidity is to increase the numbers of Indigenous people working in healthcare.
