Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN), an intelligent health monitoring system, is introduced advanced and integrated applications in the field of medical, fitness, sports, entertainment, military and consumer electronics. In WBAN, due to the limitation in the availability of energy supply, network longevity is a major challenge. Since 80% of total energy is consumed only because of communication purpose in WBAN, routing protocols play a key role towards making such networks energy efficient.
