Architectural space is a key contributor to the perceptual world we experience daily. We present 'ParticleTecturc', a sounds pace installation system that extends spatial perception of ordinary architectural space through gestural interaction with sound in space. Particle'Tecture employs a particle metaphor to produce granular synthesis soundspaces in response to video-tracking of human movement. It incorporates an adaptive mechanism that utilizes a measure of engagement to inform ongoing audio patterns in response to human activity.
