Steel fibre reinforced self-compacting concrete (SFRSCC) can be placed and compacted under its self weight with little or no mechanical vibration. It is at the same time cohesive enough to be casted without segregation or bleeding. Steel fibres improve many of the properties of self-compacting concrete (SCC) elements including tensile strength, ductility, toughness, energy absorption capacity, fracture toughness and cracking.
