The project entitled "hivestigation of Issues Related to Reliability of Wireless Mesh Networks" aims to find all the issues that affect the reliability of the mesh wireless network. There is no denying the fact that out of the wireless technologies that are being used in today's environment the wireless mesh technology is one of the most advanced and can be called as the future technology. The project will look closely into this aspect and special attention would be paid to the factors like throughput, security and scalability as they have direct influence on the reliability of the network. This project on the investigation of the reliability of wireless mesh network is subdivided into various categories explaining the primary structure of wireless mesh networks. Performance of the network has always been the key issue with reliability been the core of evaluating the quality of the network. The routing protocols that exist in this network and which help the network to perform better are being looked for and the best routing protocol is suggested. This helps to improve the throughput which is main aspect for maintaining the reliability. The main problem with the wireless mesh network is maintaining the security as it has a distributed system. This area is also considered as it improves the performance and the reliability. Also the network should be scalable to properly utilize the fi-equency and get the best out of the network. This is required for the successful delivery of the data packets. Thus, this area is also probed along with some other factors.
