drawing?

I initiated and co-curated drawing? in 2015/6. With a grant of £45K from ACE, I established and chaired a steering group of senior and Professorial representatives from three of our regional universities (Newcastle, Teesside and UNN). In collaboration with galleries, archives and other organizations across the NE, I developed a programme of activities, exhibitions and events celebrating the role and importance of drawing in A&D, architecture, education, science & engineering. drawing? opened with a show and public lecture by Sir Antony Gormley and was bookended by an exhibition and accompanying artist’s book (published by AEN) of the drawings of Prof. Eric Bainbridge from UoS. The programme was interdisciplinary with artists from France, Israel, Scandinavia, India, the US and the UK and engaged a number of BAME groups in the NE
