The Charles Rennie Mackintosh-designed Glasgow School of Art is now recognised as one of Europe’s most iconic buildings. It continues to attract record numbers of cultural tourists but as “the only art school in the world where the building is worthy of the subject", the actions of its staff and students who continue to use the building as a place of work and study is increasingly under the spotlight
