Background: Transitory or definitive amenorrhea (A) is a related side effect, specifically affecting young women diagnosed with breast cancer and treated with adjuvant chemotherapy (CT). Premature ovarian failure (POF) is often related to increased morbidity and mortality for heart disease and osteoporosis.
