Pengaruh Jarak Tanam Dan Jumlah Biji Per Lubang Tanam Terhadap Hasil Baby Corn

This research was conducted at Kalikuto Village, district of Grabag regency .of Magelang, Central Java, since Mart to May 2008. This aim of research was to study the effects of planting distance and seed of number per planting hole on the yield of Baby Corn. Two treatment factors were arranged in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. The first factor is planting distance of three levels i.e. 50 cm x 15 cm, 75 cm x l5 cm, 100 cm x 15 cm. The three seed of number per planting hole i.e. 1 seed per planting hole, 2 seed per planting hole, 3 seed per planting hole. The result of the research showed that planting distance increased the yield Baby Corn, except weight of plant per ha. Seed of number per planting hole decreased the number of ears , weight of ears to trade in decent, diameter of ears to trade in decent, light of ears to trade in decent, weight of straw per plant, produced of ears and straw . The best on yield resulted is planting 100 cm x 15 cm and number of 1 seed per planting hole haved lenght of ears to trade in decent on 14,350 cm. · Key Words : Planting ·distance and seed of number per planting hole, Baby Corn
