Relevansi Agama dan Alam dalam Pandangan Aliran Kebatinan Dayak Indramayu

This article talks about the concept of universe and the power of Nature that governs human daily life. This research carried out on Indramayu Dayak faith community "Segandu Earth" in Krimun village, Indramayu district. Source of data consists of primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from interviews and observations toward the leaders of the Dayak Indramayu community, Mr. Takmad, several of his students, the society around them, and the religious leaders of Islam (MUI Losarang district). This study used the interpretive method. Dayak Indramayu community was a cult that has own theological views that are different from other religions. They believe that nature was the source of life; nature becomes a place to grow, and the death of all living things, including humans. Nature is also the creator of life. Human were borned from the essence of nature. A baby borned from the ovum and sperm cell meeting from both parents, the cells created from the quintessence of food, and humans food derived from nature, so nature becomes the center of the process of life. God for them was not something abstract. They rejected the notion that God was something that could not be touched, but God was nature itself, and humans received natural radiance to maintain its sustainability in order to create prosperity on this earth. The implications of view of God made this group do not believe in Muhammad as a human carried of Gods truth and also do not believe in the Quran as the word of God. They consider the failure of society to build social welfare was a failure of religion
