Analisis Kepadatan Vektor Malaria pada Lingkungan Penderita di Puskesmas Bambu Kab. Mamuju 2008

The population of Indonesia is approximately 230 million people (BPS, 2007) and 60% of them live in areas at risk of malaria. MOH RI data from 2007 shows the number of malaria-infected population at risk is estimated as many as 116 million people while the number of clinical cases of malaria were reported 1,775,845 cases. Indonesias tropical climate allows very Anopheles mosquitoes to live well and be vectors of disease. The objective of this research is to know the mosquito density, the type of ano-pheles mosquitoes, the type of the breeding site, and malaria in the area of Puskesmas Bambu in Mamuju distric. Type of research is observasional approach with cross-sectional study, the research sample is a vector (density, type of mosquito, the brood) and malaria (malaria activities). Collecting data with observations made with the survey entimologi. Data analysis is done using the application program SPSS 12. Results of this research show that the density of mosquitoes in the catch in the house, outside the home and in the enclosure is subpictus with Anopheles density (MHD: 4.55/jam), and most bite to eat or ex-plore at 22:00 to 23:00, mosquito behavior mengigit Anopheles is mengigit more happy people in the outdoors (eksofagi). Positive penular of a malaria vector is Anopheles subpictus where found 1 of 10 mosquitoes in a surgical operation there is a gland in sporozoit eat ones words.
