The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship betweentransformational leadership and organizational commitment (affective, normative,and continuance commitment), psychological empowerment as a mediating variable.Variables in this research were measured via a survey of 193 production employeeof garment company Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta and Jawa Tengah. StructuralEquation Modeling (SEM) were used to examine the effects of transformationalleadership on organizational commitment. Results showed that the estimated modelin this research is acceptable based on the goodness of fit index.
