The demand for ultra-wideband (UWB) antennas have been on the rise in the last decade. There are many different systems and devices such as ground penetrating radars (GPRs) and wireless communications where such antennas find very unique applications. Many topologies and configurations have been studied and reported in designing UWB antennas. These topologies are corresponding to radiation pattern, polarization, and band of operation.
