M.Ed.This investigation deals with parental involvement as an aspect of school climate and its implication for school effectiveness. The theme will be investigated in terms of four chapters. In this chapter, the following aspects received the attention of the researcher: Introduction, problem statement, aims and objectives, research methodology, assumptions of study, clarification of concepts and order of the discussion. This chapter only provides an overview of the study and aspects that will receive attention of the researcher.
