M.Ed.The goal of educational research is to extend the researcher's understanding and knowledge so that this may be used to benefit and improve education (Donald, Lazarus & Lolwana, 1997: 98). The educational psychologist uses this newly acquired knowledge by interpreting it and translating it into practice. Therefore, by presenting the new knowledge on a practical level, they make it more accessible so that it may lead to the improvement of educational practice. In this specific context, the aim of this study serves two purposes.
