This project aims to explore the impact of alcohol on the developing foetus, inside the womb. The research aims have been met via the use of a literature review and documentary analysis; carrying out primary research on secondary sources. From this, the key findings show that advice on alcohol consumption is unclear and confusing to women. Academic writing along with professionals cannot offer solid conclusions from research, but generally the impact on the foetus is negative in some way.
