INTRODUCTION: Older adults who fall during turning\ud are eight times more likely to experience a hip\ud fracture than from a fall during walking in a straight\ud line [1]. The ability to turn has been identified as an\ud important task of daily living, and the evaluation of\ud turning has been included in many clinical\ud assessments to determine those at risk of falling [2-\ud 4].
