Image of the İshak Pasha palace. An Ottoman-period palace, the İshak Pasha palace features typical architectural styles of Ottoman, Persian and Seljuk civilizations. After Istanbul Topkapı Palace it is the most famous of the palaces built in the last period. Its construction started in 1685 by Çolak Abdi Pasha, the bey of Beyazit province, and continued by his son İshak Pasha and completed by his grandson Mehmet Pasha in 1784.
