Resumen: En un primer estudio se analizó si el sexo del líder y seguidor influye en las actitudes sostenidas por seguidores hacia mujeres líderes. Los resultados no mostraron influencia del sexo del líder pero sí diferencias a favor de líderes hombres. No se observó influencia del sexo del seguidor. Un segundo estudio analizó si las características estereotípicas de las mujeres líderes y el sexo del seguidor influyen en las actitudes sostenidas por los seguidores hacia mujeres líderes. Los resultados mostraron actitudes desfavorables hacia mujeres con atributos agénticos y actitudes favorables hacia mujeres líderes que combinan atributos comunales y agénticos.
