National audienceThis article presents briefly the results of the excavations carried out in 2002 on the Hexenberg site at Leutenheim (50 kilometres to the north of Strasbourg). A recent article in this review had given a progress report on the excavations carried out between 1994 and 1999. This year two tools of exceptional size were discovered. These bronze tools have some original characteristics, like their perfect state of conservation and an median octagonal section. The smallest tool has a semicircular edge and can be classified in the family of the gouges. This type of object is also known at the same time in Switzerland and Italy.
