http://lirhe.univ-tlse1.fr/publications/notes.htmWe study the analysis of the access to the high skilled jobs young people of the generation left the education system in 1998. We show that the family background plays a part after the exit of the education system independently of the effect of the family background on the education level. In addition, if the education level of the girls is higher on average than that of the boys, the proportion of boys who occupies high skilled jobs is a higher quarter than that of the girls. First of all, the family background proves more penalizing for the girls that for the boys.
