International audienceA specific study of the fragments of words in spoken French were undertaken some years ago on the basis of corpora of non directive talks recorded and transcribed according to Aix Group of Research in Syntax (DELIC currently)'s conventions'. The objective of our study is to describe the types of restarts which follow these interruptions and their localization. Some parameters like the category of truncation, the type of words concerned by the interruption and the site of the fragment of words compared to the verb modulate the presence of the restarts after truncation.
