We use the neo-institutional and legitimacy theoretical perspective in order to analyze the “business case” i.e. the arguments in favor of sustainable developement and best practices, stated by organizations of “The Big Model Companies” that are commited in CSR and want to incitate managers that CSR is a win-win strategy and makes good business sense. This responses to stakeholder's pressure enact partial conformity strategies in order to enhance or gain legitimacy in a volontary exercise and in order to avoid mandatory regulations.
