Finance et accumulations dans le capitalisme post-industriel

Ce texte est différent de la version finale qui sera publiée en 2008.The emergence of a knowledge capitalism is often considered as an alternative to a financial capitalism. Our goal is to explain why the financial capitalism hypothesis is not relevant to characterize and to show that the hypothesis of a knowledge capitalism can provide an explanation of the growth and the importance of finance. Three topics are considered:(1) the new forms of accumulation in the knowledge capitalism, (ii) the current financialization and (iii) the co-evolution of finance and knowledge capitalismL'hypothèse de l'avènement d'un capitalisme cognitif est souvent posée en alternative de celle relative à l'émergence d'un capitalisme financier. L'ambition de ce texte est d'expliquer pourquoi, tout en reconnaissant l'importance actuelle de la finance, il n'est pas opportun de retenir l'idée d'une nouvelle période du capitalisme caractérisée par sa financiarisation. Tout le problème est alors de montrer en quoi le développement du capitalisme cognitif explique et justifie l'extension de la finance. Trois thèmes sont successivement abordés : (i) les nouvelles formes de l'accumulation, (ii) la financiarisation contemporaine et (iii) la co-évolution de la finance et du capitalisme cognitif
