La relation didactique entraîneur / athlète en lancers

texte et annexes mis en ligneThis thesis takes for object the didactic relation coach/athlete (dyad) in throws (shot put, discus, javelin and hammer). It aims at showing how the search for performance mobilizes different and additional knowledge (athlete, coach). It goals at showing the didactic specificity of the relation and the generic aspects of the four throws on the side of the nature of the invested knowledge, their transmission and their acquisition (compared didactics). The main hypothesis concerns the co-determination of the athlete's and the coach's knowledge (and know-how). This knowledge would evolve according to "common lines" in four throws. In order to show this similarities in a practice based on the repetition (throws, orders), we developed quantitative and qualitative methods (video of the sessions, interviews, tools of analysis of movements and technical points, etc.). So, we compared four dyads (one for each throw), studying five to seven successive training sessions. This compared didactic analysis allowed to show that according to a route crossed by critical episodes (favorable or unfavourable to the success), the athletes gradually stabilize a more and more ample, accelerated and successful movement while the coaches insist more and more towards the action of lower limbs and the beginning of the movement. The critical episodes – all the more decisive as they concern the double support phase – develop the knowledge of each and participate in the constitution of common knowledge. These results show how a comparative didactic analysis brings to the understanding of close practices (throws), at the same (national) level. It breaks with the traditional scientific approaches of the high-level sport where the stakes in acquisition of the effective knowledge are nevertheless omnipresentCette thèse prend pour objet la relation didactique entraîneur/athlète (dyade) dans les lancers (poids, disque, javelot et marteau). Elle vise à montrer comment la recherche de performance mobilise des savoirs différents et complémentaires (athlète, entraîneur). Il s'agit ainsi de dégager la spécificité didactique de la relation et les aspects génériques des quatre lancers sur le plan de la nature des savoirs investis, de leur transmission et de leur acquisition (didactique comparée). L'hypothèse principale est relative à la co-détermination des savoirs (et savoir-faire) de l'athlète et de l'entraîneur. Ces savoirs évolueraient selon des « lignes communes » aux quatre lancers. Afin de dégager ces similarités dans une pratique basée sur la répétition (gestes, consignes), nous avons développé des méthodes de types quantitatif et qualitatif (vidéo des entraînements, entretiens, grilles d'analyse des gestes et des points techniques abordés, etc.). Ainsi, nous avons comparé quatre dyades (une par lancer) sur cinq à sept séances d'entraînement successives. Cette analyse didactique comparée a permis de montrer qu'au gré d'un parcours traversé d'épisodes critiques (favorables ou défavorables à la réussite), les athlètes stabilisent progressivement un geste de plus en plus ample, accéléré et performant alors que les entraîneurs insistent de plus en plus vers l'action des membres inférieurs et le début du geste. Les épisodes critiques – d'autant plus déterminants qu'ils concernent le double appui – font évoluer les savoirs de chacun et participent à la constitution de savoirs communs. Ces résultats montrent comment une analyse didactique comparatiste apporte à la compréhension de pratiques proches (lancers), à un même niveau (national). Cela rompt avec les approches scientifiques traditionnelles du sport de haut niveau où les enjeux d'acquisition des savoirs efficaces sont pourtant omniprésent
