This paper presents phonological, tonological, and morphological data gathered during a brief survey of Gbayi, a language belonging to the Ubangian branch of Niger-Congo, related to Ngbandi, and spoken in the Central African Republic. This language is also called Kpatiri but should not be confused with another language spoken by members of the same ethnic group and related to Nzakara.
