Le kpatiri ou gbayi, une nouvelle langue du groupe ngbandi

This paper presents phonological, tonological, and morphological data gathered during a brief survey of Gbayi, a language belonging to the Ubangian branch of Niger-Congo, related to Ngbandi, and spoken in the Central African Republic. This language is also called Kpatiri but should not be confused with another language spoken by members of the same ethnic group and related to Nzakara. These are the first published data on this language.Cet article présente les résultats en phonologie, en tonologie et en morphologie d'une brève enquête sur la langue gbayi appartenant à la branche oubanguienne de la famille Niger-Congo, apparentée au ngbandi et parlée en République centrafricaine. Cette langue est aussi appelée kpatiri mais n'est pas à confondre avec une autre langue parlée au sein de la même ethnie, apparentée au nzakara.
