International audienceThe present study deals with spread of the coda's nasal feature over adjacent oral vowels in Modern Standard Arabic. The aim of is to specify its acoustic attributes. The acoustic analysis is based on the realization of 45 words containing the final syllable CVn# produced by 8 native speakers of Arabic coming from different Arab countries. Acoustic measures were taken in 3 different positions (initial, medial and final). Results show on the one hand that the nasal feature is present during the vocalic cycle.
