The aim of this thesis is the analysis of French General Practitioners earnings. Three microeconometric studies are developed using longitudinal data.<br /><br />A first chapter deals with the impact of the medical population's regulation on the career of the general practitioners. We show that the intergenerational inequity is huge and that the demographic control of educated practitioners plays a key role on the doctors fees. Practitioners installed in the 1980s suffer from both baby-boom effect and high numerus clausus rule: They get the lowest income. On the contrary, the decrease in the numerus clausus level improved the financial situation of the installed cohorts from the middle of the 1990s.<br /><br />A second chapter looks at a re...
