Adapter ou uniformiser les interactions personnes-systèmes ?

National audienceIn a context of multiplication of human-computer interactions (HCI) adaptation techniques, this article proposes a synthesis from various disciplinary points of view to identify the advantages and disadvantages of the adaptation and of its apparent opposite, the standardization, in order to help interactive systems designers to avoid some traps. The conceptualization of the HCI and the study of the uses of various tools, standardized or adapted, within organizations make it possible to raise social and human problems, which explain the success or the failure of some ways of development. A state of the art of the adaptation techniques reveals the complexity of the parameters to be reconciled at the time of a design decision and suggests choices to be privileged as well as precautions to take. Some suggestions are proposed for balancing between standardization and adaptation.Dans un contexte de multiplication des techniques d'adaptation des interactions personnes-systèmes, cet article propose une synthèse de différents points de vue disciplinaires pour identifier les avantages et inconvénients de l'adaptation et de son opposé apparent, l'uniformisation, ceci afin d'aider les concepteurs de systèmes interactifs à éviter certains pièges. La conceptualisation de l'interaction homme-machine et l'étude des usages de différents outils, standardisés ou adaptés, au sein d'organisations permettent de soulever des problèmes sociaux et humains, qui expliquent le succès ou l'échec de telle ou telle voie de développement. Un état de l'art des techniques d'adaptation révèle la complexité des paramètres à concilier lors d'un choix de conception et suggère des choix à privilégier ainsi que des précautions à prendre.
