This article enters into the general problem of the characteri-zation of the natural ant anthropic processes in the formation of archaeological sites. Il studies the comportment of experimental artefacts - in this case silex blades and bladelets - under the effect of being trampled on, then rain washed. It aims, in parti-cular, to describe vertical dispersion, the change in orientation of objects and the lateral deplacement of objects under the action of the two processes. This works shows the ubiquitous character of these criteria for the characterization of the degree of preserva-tion of archaeological assemblages. Il also underlines the possible complexity of the making up an archaeological level, com-plexity that hides the use of this c...
