International audienceQuartz grains have been extracted from Quaternary sediments from different origins : — Eolian sands (Arago cave) — Beach sands (Terra Amata site) — Sediments baked by lava-flows (Massif Central, France). Thèse quartz grains have been studied by a large grain technique, using the Electron Spin Resonance (E.S.R.) dating method.
