International audienceIn India, quality of census data is good enough to allow geographic approach at micro-scale (village level) of the socioeconomic phenomena. However, variability of data at this scale, as well as the huge number of units to take into consideration, make it difficult to present synthetic results, which would underline the major trends of the space structure.
