International audienceThe major issues of Hungarian demography are the decreasing population and the increasing average age. The number and proportion of (potentially) active employees have been continuously decreasing. The number of school and higher education attendees is decreasing, while the number of retired people is increasing. Thus the education system, the retirement- fund system, as well as the elderly health care system needs to be reformed
