Time and its influence on teaching are at the heart of numerous debates on education, which are often also concerned with the issue of school inequalities: how heterogeneity is dealt with, how teaching is differentiated, and so forth. “Didactical time”, as a concept that can be defined as a process of creation and regulation of didactical heterogeneities, allows us to study how teaching processes operate temporally and brings new perspectives to important issues related to it.
