International audienceThis article analyzes the phenomenon of the ethnicity revival in Europe in its relationship with the African Pentecostalism through the historical case of The Church of Pentecost of Ghana, a Church which is thought at the same time "indigenous" and transnational. The problems of the inter-ethnic relations gave rise to new African Churches on the European ground. For several authors, it is the bad reception reserved to the African migrants in the European Churches which would have involved a resurgence of the ethnicity in Europe and which pushes these migrants to gather initially on the basis of their ethnic identity.
