International audienceComparative analysis is essential for a better understanding of the relationship between political communication activities and their national context. This article presents the results of a comparative content analysis of party websites in France and Quebec, during the national election campaigns 2007. The content analysis shows a degree of standardization of party websites: these sites are mainly focused on information dissemination and the mobilization of supporters. The potential of the Internet as an interactive or participative tool is not very much used.
