International audienceThis volume is both dedicated to practitioners and to people interested in the social history of Pidgins and Creoles in education. It deals with policy development, sociolinguistic and educative contexts, projects and programs underway, and their evaluation. It compares different educational activities in which Creoles so far are involved in a wide range of settings around the world. Finally, it discusses a list of procedures that are necessary for successfully developing, evaluating and reforming educational activities that aim to integrate Creole languages in a viable and sustainable manner into formal education
