As the notional marker, the suffix's function consists in localization of povat on the notional domain and in the construction of the opposition between both values. The evaluative opposition appears when the adjectives povat are formed from the qualifying adjectives and it corresponds to the expression of diminution and indeterminacy values. The notional opposition appears when the adjectives povat are formed from the substantives and it corresponds to the metaphorical characterization to the state of the world.
