International audienceThis article is a summary of the results of my research about the statuses of the industrial workforce in 1941-1945. It shows that the condition of the free labourers has grown worse because of the draconian laws on labour discipline ; from the economic and social point of view, the differences between the four categories of forced labourers were not very great.Cet article résume mes recherches sur les statuts de la main-d'œuvre de l'industrie en 1941-1945. Il montre qu'à côté des travailleurs libres, au statut dégradé par des lois draconiennes sur la discipline du travail, il existait quatre catégories de travailleurs forcés, plutôt proches par leurs conditions de vie
