National audienceAt the digital age, it's not only scale of copy which changes, but also its strategic and cultural significance. The practice of copy-paste has to be re-examined first to distinguish plagiarism - supported by the availability of the resources and the effectiveness of the search engines - and techniques of collection and collage - vectors of a dynamics of cultural appropriation. The technical dimension of copy must then be replaced in the center of the digital performativity. From the various shapes of transitory copy, essential to the information flow, to the algorithmic duplication of data, which makes today the law on the Internet, it is the entire economy of publication which should be reconsidered. In this context, rather than a hardening of copyright, it is a defense of a public Internet we need, in order to dam up the logic of silos that big actors of the Web apply to the management of the cloud.À l'ère numérique, la copie ne change pas seulement d'échelle, mais aussi de portée stratégique et culturelle. La pratique du copier-coller doit en ce sens être réexaminée pour que soient d'abord distingués le plagiat - favorisé par la disponibilité des ressources et l'efficacité des moteurs de recherche - et les techniques de collecte et de montage - vecteurs d'une dynamique d'appropriation des biens culturels. La dimension technique de la copie doit ensuite être replacée au centre de la performativité numérique. Des diverses formes de copie transitoire, indispensables à la circulation des informations, à la duplication algorithmique des données, qui fait aujourd'hui la loi sur les réseaux, c'est toute l'économie de la publication qu'il faut repenser. Dans ce contexte, plutôt qu'un durcissement du copyright, c'est d'une défense d'un Internet public que nous avons besoin, afin d'endiguer la logique de silos que les grands acteurs du Web appliquent à la gestion du cloud
