International audienceHow to compare the frequencies of a single word within two different corpora ? We present a method in order to decide whether these two frequencies are statistically significant or not. A Parametric bilateral test is presented with the example of the first person pronouns used by the four major candidates who were running for the 2007 French presidency (F. Bayrou, J.-M. Le Pen, S. Royal, N. Sarkozy). Theoretical and empirical values are compared. It appears that the first person density is not dependant on the individual personality or style.
