In this article, we analyze user help or "assistants" such as they are available on a platform for distance learning at the University of Montpelier III, on the basis of research undertaken by the DESA1 research team. Several student prisoners are enrolled on the "Diploma for Access to University" E-learning courses (henceforth "DAEU"). Our analysis lead us to highlight the characteristics involved in prison environments which are not taken into account in the design of user helps made available to student prisoners. On the basis of the training calendar as an example, we recommend educational support in adequacy with constraints in prison environments
