International audienceIn this paper are studied two fragmentary statues from Saï island, which belong to the XIIIth Dynasty. Both are inscribed and bear an Egyptian anthroponym : Dedu-Sbk for the first one, Iy-mrw for the other. This study, based on D. Franke's work, Personendaten and additional datas, try to insert these two individuals in their historical background according to their family relationships, their titles and the nature and location of the documents themselves. As a result, it seems possible to speculate that these statues have been brought in Saï by the Nubian inhabitants of the island back to their military expedition towards Egypt during the Second Intermediate Period.
