National audienceThe policies for planned return of the tide on some coastal areas (or for depolderisation) are still timorous in France, even if some examples and schemes start to appear, especialy on the Atlantic coast. They are more numerous in the North West of Europe(Germany, England, Netherlands) aiming at other purposes. We shall consider first the process of such managements : are these depolderisations been chosen or undergone ? are they the result of floods after storms or the result of a planned re-entrance of the sea? We shall see that the last hypothesis remains exceptional.
