Care is socially organized in the countries of origin and destination in such a way that it is linked to the feminization of South---North labour migration (Latin America - Spain); a reality that gives account of the urgency for including care as a public issue in development at transnational level. In this article, we relate the care crisis in the global North to certain migration patterns in two ways: on the one hand, we will show how essential the social reproduction is in the sustenance of the socio---economic systems, and on the other, we will show the relevance of the affective---family dimension of the migratory processes, in which the reproduction practices are among the main ones.La forma en que se organizan socialmente los cuidado...
