La représentation sociale du développement durable d'élèves de lycée professionnel en démarche d'Agenda 21. Appuis et obstacles

International audienceIn the context of 'generalization' of education for sustainable development (ESD) in France, we examine the effects of the implementation of an Agenda 21 in a vocational school. On the one hand, we will reflect on the interest of using the theory of social representations (SR) to identify supports for and barriers to educational activities. On the other hand, we try to answer several questions: Is the socially acute question of sustainable development (SD) socially acute for students, and in what ways? Do they have a SR of SD as they enter the career path and can we identify a change after a year or more of participation in school life? Is this representation independent or linked to others? What are the consequences for the anchoring of eco-citizen knowledge?Dans le contexte de la généralisation de l'éducation au développement durable (EDD) en France, nous interrogeons les effets de la mise en place d'une démarche d'Agenda 21 dans un lycée professionnel. D'une part, nous mènerons une réflexion sur l'intérêt de l'utilisation de la théorie des représentations sociales (RS) dans la perspective d'identifier des appuis et des obstacles aux actions éducatives menées. D'autre part, nous tenterons de répondre à plusieurs questions : La question socialement vive du DD est-elle vive pour les élèves et sous quels aspects ? Ont-ils une RS du DD à leur entrée dans la voie professionnelle et peut-on identifier une évolution après un an ou plus de participation à la vie de l'établissement ? Cette représentation est-elle autonome ou liée à d'autres ? Avec quelles conséquences sur l'ancrage de savoirs éco-citoyens
